Suggestion Title: NPAS pilot + AFO/FSD tactics

Division: Aux - NPAS

Hey!!

So I have been watching some documentaries and reading about different tactics relating to NPAS, AFO and FSD and even though the clips below which show them being trained and explain how they’re used is slightly older, I really do think we could do with something like this as an additional training package for the following,

NPAS pilots - additional training to pick up and drop off AFO and FSD to scenes
AFO/FSD - specialised training in being in the helicopter and how to work around the Heli when being dropped in a remote area

So, a quick summary, there are tactics irl which are rarely used but are available to take AFO officers and FSD to remote areas where it’s not easily accessible by ground vehicles such as mountains, roof tops, large gardens etc. I believe this would be an incredible and highly sought after training/application based training which can increase immersion! If this gets looked into, since it is an obviously higher risk tactic, it could be authorised by any DSU or AFO SGT+ on operations or any calls which require such tactic.

Sorry if my wording is a bit awkward or doesn’t make sense, I hope it all does make sense though!!

Thanks for taking time to read and consider, I would love to see this in policemp as an NPAS pilot and be able to get my hands dirty and involved in this!

Sure Dauphin is used for AFO stuff. But may not have read your point fully.

@Freddie
Thank you for your suggestion.
We currently already have Dauphins for firearms officers deployment.
As Flight Operations is a support division for MET and other divisions, we are only the pilots who are only responsible for safety of the aircraft and passengers, any tactics involving the above should be made available or approved by the relevant divisions. (Ie: AFO / DSU)

Therefore moving this to "Declined"
