It has been widely acceptable up to now to simply message a member of Gold Command and have a complaint against an officer dealt with. This goes heavily against the entire procedure we have put in place to prevent complaints being dealt with incorrectly and as a result we are putting a change into place with immediate effect.
We urge you to complain about officers when you believe they have done wrong. It doesn't matter if they are ranked cadet or higher, you can complain about any person who currently plays on PoliceMP if you feel they have done wrong. We don't want to make you feel as if you should not complain, we just want to ensure you do so using the correct methods to ensure it is dealt with in the best way benefitting both you and the person the complaint has been made against in the long run.
Each complaint you make should be made using the form here on the forums. It takes a few minutes to fill in but means we can categorise and deal with complaints appropriately and ensure that at all times the correct person is dealing with it. Please make sure your complaints are detailed and where possible include evidence as it is very hard to build information without evidence.
Members of our Professional Standards Department have been briefed not to accept complaints through Discord or forum DM and only to deal with assigned complaints made through the forums. Your complaints made here are anonymous unless you choose to tell the complainant yourself.
