Declined ERT suggestion - (callsign)

I think ERT should be able to use Papa tango callsign (as in set it like a normal callsign) https://policemp.com/guides/call-signs/

as then control will know if they are the PBD or normal ERT not in use.

Thank you for your suggestion. Firstly, the MPS does not use "PT" callsigns IRL, We use a numerical-based system for example SW50E would be South West 50 Earlies IE station van.

Unfortunately, there are far too many of you and people come and go daily; This would be a bit of a nightmare to keep track of. I love the idea of it but fundamentally at the moment, it would not be something that we would look at taking on.
