The ability to scroll back in the chat to previous messages. Would be useful when information is passed out in the chat like vehicle description or postal address. After a few other messages it disappears and no way of scrolling back to find it.

Especially if quite a few people are talking on the chat infomation can be easily lost.

Press T to open chat. Then use Page Up and Page Down to navigate up and down in chat

The issue with using page up and down is that whenever somebody types a new message it automatically drags you back to the message so can take a couple of attempts to read a full message out.

So really it does need some improvement on this. With that in mind I still feel as if the suggestion should still be carried forward

The current chat system is created by FiveM. It would need a custom one created. As we have other things going on and this is more of a Quality of Life feature, I will decline. As per other messages, you can Page up & Page Down when you have the chat bar open.
