I think that the recent addition of gaining injuries from when you crash your vehicle has made it a little bit unrealistic. There have been times when Civs and Emergency Services have just been driving and hit some object which in reality would probably not give you any injuries, but will now give you a broken neck and usually kill you. It is even worse when the driver De-Syncs which then causes you to die to ultimately nothing.. Example: https://medal.tv/games/gta-v/clips/kajcclnMUREfIwqtC?invite=cr-MSxybXMsOTY0MTY5MzE

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no way for the game to detect wither your Desyncing or Driving normally, However what i will say is with game mechanics this can also under estimate the type of injuries you would have i.e, You've been spun out and been hit by a 11.5 Ton lorry head on at speed there, You would be more injured than you were as per your Clip.

This means that you can't just flee as you would IRL have a decent amount of injuries on Impact.

+1, i was having a little de sync on my side of the game while as the passenger of a vehicle. (The driver was fine with no desync) and we hit into 1 single barrier not even going fast at all and I had almost full body trauma and instantly went unconscious..

Good Evening,

I have had similar scenarios where I have been injured by the medical menu from a light tap on the side, but I have also have scenarios where I have had no injuries on the medical menu from a serious crash.

Although this may not be intended and may be a "bug" I think that this could also become a feature. When you get into a situation like the example you had provided where you got rear ended by the police officer there is no guaranteed injury.
There are many factors that could go into consideration with the multi RTC that you were involved in:

1. Force, Speed and Velocity of the RTC
2. Where you are positioned within the vehicle - this depends on the injuries are on the body and how they occur

Having these injuries change every time you do crash the vehicles allows diversity for how the injuries are sustained and allow further in-depth RP for the paramedics, doctors or S/CIU which attend the call.

As Kilted as already stated, the medical menu does not pick up when there is desync and when it comes to desync there is nothing that the developers can do to fix this than optimise the server further to reduce the amount of desync.

I agree with the fact that the medical menu cannot detect the difference, but I believe recently the developers made it more sensitive. At the same time it seems a little bit over sensitive, therefore I hope they can lower the injuries on impact with objects. Or make them more dependant on things such as speeds.
