Suggestion Title: A change to how PPO acts and looks within padp
Division: MET - AFO
Currently within Padp we have a uniformed officer has a VIP PPO, i believe this should be changed to make it more realistic.
how i prepose command change how a PPO looks and operates is;
Looks;
I believe a PPO officer should be dressed in a formal black suit with a hand gun, there are multiple reasons i and other officers believe this, first reason would be realism, if you watch any type of VIP escort you will always see one person dressed in a all black suit next to the VIP at all times, unlike policemp where we use a fully uniformed officer at the side.
i also believe a suit instead of wearing full uniform would suggest a more professional and non intimidating image to others which can be needed when being that protection for a high profile person. The formal outfit also helps PPOs blend into crowd easier, minimising the attention and any potential disruptions. When wearing a suit this may assist with any crowd interactions and to help create a less confrontational atmosphere, for example if a suspect decides to get loud and argumentative a person in plain clothes uniform without a firearm visible can calm the scene easier than a officer whos in full kit and carrying a rifle and sidearm both visible.

Currently when a suspect engages the VIP, the group of Padp officers including PPO moves as a unit meaning they have a split focus, moving the VIP to safety and engaging the suspects. I suggest we change how it operates,
so if the VIP comes under fire, the 3 additional Padp officers are to return fire to the suspects while the PPO extracts the VIP to safetly, however is all if safe to do so if the suspects have a complete overview of the convoy the VIP will stay still in cover until its safe to move.

Another thing that could be added is that the PPO has a rifle or SMG within the vehicle incase it is needed but the sidearm is the many source of protection.
