Suggestion Title: ARO Self Attach

Division: MET - ERT

Hey! As some control does not attach us to calls. May we self attach when we feel like its needed. This is like Paramedic (ERT) Adv. Paramedic (ARO) as we do nothing as control dont attach us.

But then you would have all of ARO attaching to one call, I don’t see an issue on how it currently works.

ARO are sent to calls by control quite often. I always hear ARO being called up. Disagree since other ERT have to be sent to calls too.. Unfair if ARO are sent to everything and can self-dispatch too. Disagree. -1

When control adds ERT ARO also should attach I mean we self attach with ERT.

ARO is ERT. Control can do dispatching themselves competently and then when there is no control I’m sure units use their discredit on on attaching to calls.

I don't see why ARO would have more a priority then normal ERT? They are the exact same but carry a stinger and can assist with pursuits?

As mentioned this has been addressed. ARO are still ERT officers with extra training for certain situations. You will be attached to appropriate calls. For this reason I will be denying this.
