Suggestion Title: ERT Garage Revamp

Division: MET - ERT

I think it's time for a garage revamp for ERT. We have had the same garage with few changes since I joined the server in April 2022. I don't want to throw the devs a load of work with model building or reskinning so I have tried to find as many models as I can online:

Completely agree with Aidan. The addition of the Insignia estate was very kind and a very welcomed addition. I actually had some people message me say they are going back on as ERT just for the vehicle who are currently in AFO, RTPC, etc.

RTPC have just had a cull along with new additions and it created so much excitement (even with myself) that RTPC numbers in game have skyrocketed. I would love to see the same happen with ERT.

Please, from all at ERT, could this suggestion be looked into or a hint given if we are to expect new vehicles to ERT. As RS2 has said, most of the vehicles have stayed the same since April 2022 with every division having a revamp apart from ERT. It really would breathe anew life into the biggest PMP division and encourage more activity.

Absolutely agree with this. I may not have as much influence as the supervision above, but more additions to the fleet, or even just replacing vehicles, would be very welcoming indeed. And I may be biased here, but the West Yorkshire Peugeot 308 is a favourite of mine. Not exactly MET but ya know

Hi all,

Truthfully we have a few cars in works for ERT, although they are not any referenced above.

Don’t expect anything to performance related ie BMWs/Mercs

These are some brilliant suggestions and I really recommend senior management do take this seriously, the current fleet of cars are getting old news and the lightbars are a bit naff if I am honest. New vehicles will without a doubt stir a higher ERT presence on the server as well as bring people back to the division.

I would welcome this decision with open arms as I personally think a refresh to the Peugeot 308 and the addition of a BMW 218i Incident Response Vehicle will do the trick. The ford focus is now the Metropolitan Police's new response vehicle yet again and they are suddenly returning to them. So maybe a 2022 ford focus would be a nice addition to the ERT garage, Hyundai i30 is just a yes from me. Very good looking vehicle and they were brilliant IRV's and are still used today in multiple forces.

Please do consider this SM as I think its time for a refresh and some newer motors to rag about

Yeah I'll have to agree with the above. Especially adding vehicles such as an updated Ford Focus Estate IRV and the Hyundai's. They're very "MET" esque vehicles if you catch what I'm saying. I think there's a lot of vehicles (the passat + insignia) that are definitely more specific and common in other forces, mainly East Mids. So if anything, more "MET"-like vehicles would be more ideal. Not even bothered if they're slower, because the purpose of ERT is mainly to respond to emergency calls, not be in high-speed pursuits, nor be involved in tactical contact. If we go off of the current MET fleet, it just comprises of 21+ plate Astras, Focuses, BMW's etc.

I'd even favour to the removal of certain vehicles from the fleet list as there's such a wide range of vehicles. Especially as PCSO, you've got a huge fleet, where really they only really need a low performance car and a van in my opinion.

The list provided from Aiden in the original post sums it up really as to the vehicles I would like to see on the Whitelisted PC garage if that's possible to arrange.
