Introduce some sort of status message that shows on your screen, constantly showing what channels should be used.
I.e a small message saying
Interops Channel 2 | Open
This would be changed with a command inputted by control in the start/ end of their shift
Depending on your role, would depend on what you would see. I.e police would see “Interops Main Channel | Open” instead so that people know which channel to be in.
To often have I been on a scene and controllers have left / joined / changed while being on scene and we miss the message due to being on scene. It’s difficult to monitor the chat and the ongoing scene.
Especially when some controllers only stay on for a matter of a few minutes.
This would mean, instead of asking control what channel we are meant to be in constantly. We could just glance at the corner of our screen and see what channel is suggested by the game.
