Certainly you wouldn’t see most of the people bald and with same facial appearance. And paying 10 quid a month to have a “realistic” character is bit sad, I recommend making character customisation free as it would be more realistic.

Kind of defeats the point of having different levels of donator perks. Character customization is an added experience to the server plus it's not something that direcly affects how you play the server.

But is it realistic? Not really you would most likely see people with “hair” and facial aspects anywhere you go.

A lot of aspects of the server isn't realistic. If it was to incorporate every aspect to be realistic, you would not have PCSOs being able to arrest people, have powers to search or detain as well as utilise police lights and sirens. The developers have made it as it is to benefit everyone and not have too many barriers in place as they do in real life.

The point of having a payment barrier in place is to generate revenue for the developers. The costs of the server are likely expensive and having no revenue behind them will not allow the server to further progress or even exist at all. Having interesting perks such as character customisation is what makes being a Donator Pro such a benefit and worthwhile. If they were to make these "interesting perks" available for everyone, then what is driving people to donate to the server apart generally supporting the server?

I understand your point though - it's plain and basic. The development team could potentially consider making different levels of customisation available at other levels of donator. For example, allowing regular donator perks to customise hair style, while Donator Pro can customise facial hair, shape, eyebrows etc.

Thanks for your suggestion.

Whilst a lot of areas are realistic, not everything is. We have introduced the subscriptions/donators as a way to support PoliceMP. Hosting the infrastructure, and licenses has a cost. PoliceMP is non-profit, and the donations/subscriptions are a simple way for us to keep running the server without the developers having to pay out of their pockets.

At the moment there are no plans to move the customchar out of the donator perks.
