Maybe let non probe controllers have a car that has blue lights on, is unmarked and follows the FIM bus to help out where needed

From a FIM control perspective. We go to major incidents which requires only ourselves and not other controllers. Control are meant to stay inside of their designated building at all time. Unless authorised which is really rare, and if that happens you would go into FIM bus anyway.

I really don’t see the point of this?
Control is a division that stay inside and operate the radio. Even when I was FIM I wouldn’t nearly as often travel to MIs because there’s no real need for a FIM there.

Hello,

The only person who leaves to attend Major Incidents is the Force Incident Manager. Control maintains their presence inside of the designated Control Room and will communicate via Radio with FIM when they are on scene.
