Suggestion Title: New sub div for LFB/LAS

Division: Fire

New sub div of Co-Responders.

"Co-Responders – This refers to schemes where a Fire & Rescue Service and the Ambulance Service work in partnership to provide an effective, rapid response to immediately life threatening medical emergencies. Specifically in locations where the Fire Service will be able to get to the call more quickly".

Hello,
Thank you for this suggestion however it will be declined.

The reason is that this would mean LFB would be taking away any medical RP from NHS before they arrive on scene. We make it perfectly clear that we want NHS to focus on medical aspects of RP and LFB will focus on scene safety and hazards.
Having a co responder unit is like having a glorified RRV but can only do basic first aid. It is impractical for us to have when we need more FF's to deal with fires, RTCs, etc.
