Suggestion Title: RTPC bike/moped ramming tactics

In real life traffic officers don't need authorisation for bike rams helmet or not so I thought of allowing TPAC trained officers to self auth bike rams and moped rams etc like the new system with spikes.

With this being added to the division it would allow for the TPAC trained RTPC to make split second decision which may be life or death situation to certain members of the public if a moped is driving in a pavement etc in addition its a good fast way to take down bike riders who decide to flee from the police it would also allow the pursuit to come to a safe stop prevent further harm or injuries to the suspect, members of public or the police officers.

Hi Patchi,

Thanks for the suggestion. Put simply, this is not something we are looking at implementing at this time.
The server works around an authorisation model as we aren’t police officers at the end of the day and their needs to be a path of responsibility for authorising tactics and if it were to go wrong the repercussions of this would fall upon the person that authorised it. By nature, no helmets have a huge level of risk and the justification is so important only command would be in a place to auth it.

The emergency tactical contact is there for cases like this regarding wrong way down a motorway, however in your description a moped going down a highly populated street would be unsuitable to conduct a Tactical Contact anyway.
