Suggestion Title: RTPC - Raptor - Call grading & Self dispatching

Division: MET - RTPC

Ability for Raptor patrols / units like HEMS can to be able to self attach/auto be attached to more serious roads crime jobs which may include:

Knife point robberies
OCG Intel
Serious offences / Offenders
All motorbike jobs can be self dispatched to
All jobs that have a high risk to officers safety / life
High value robbery’s
High risk FTS

As suggested by GhostRider in a discussion to also ; "Maybe like a category system, highest being raptor only middle being tpac and raptor and then lowest being tpac only" which may also be interesting to look at.

Hello.

I do not see any real benefit to this as this could cause a lot of disruption to other divisions as they’re better equipped to go to most of what you suggested.
If some of these happened on the road via an FTS or if the person fled via vehicle then RTPC would be called upon to deal with the situations regardless, including if the suspect fled via motorbike. If however say someone held up a store via knife point then why would you call upon RTPC, when this can be dealt with from ERT and DSU.

The category system can look at being quite detrimental to RTPC as this elitist group which ostracises other units like Adv and ARO that can ultimately help in these situations, which then will lead to people not being called up. RTPC and ERT have made massive gains in including ARO on pursuits and this would go back on what has been achieved.

So on this basis this suggestion will be declined. Please do not let this deter you on making other suggestions.
