Suggestion Title: HART fire extinguishers

Division: NHS/LAS

all HART vehicles to carry fire extinguishers for smaller fires such as car fires. This will allow HART to keep the fire at bay to be able to extract/treat patients before LFB arrives to properly deal with the fire.

Hi Rattus,

Thank you for your suggestion. Any sort of fire and extraction should be dealt with by LFB/FRU respectively. HART being able to carry fire extinguishers starts giving HART fire fighting responsibilities which is not our role. If you arrive to a scene and there is a fire, we as HART, should be staying back until declared safe by LFB.

I’m going to decline this suggestion based on the the points given above. Please feel free to continue to suggest new features for HART
