With RPU when the server is full sometimes radio communications get very very full even without the Active/Priority calls. So when an Active call comes in if they were able to swap channels quickly it would allow for RPU/AFO to swap the channels alot faster which could eventually lead to the usage of the radio frequencies.
I dont believe , or . / < or > is used for anything in the server which could be a good set of buttons to go up a channel or down a channel. Channel 2 for RPU/Pursuits So on Channel 1000 downwards for AFO and that leaves Channel 1 for Central/Normal Response duties.
Another thing is Secondary Radio Channels if you could set Two channels with two PTTs people in other channels could still hear Channel 1/Central if they still wanted. It would help clear up Channel 1 but still allow for people who aren't Primarily in Channel 1 due to a scene is still aware of things happening in Channel 1 just in case a scene with higher priority was to come through whilst they were on scene. Right shift I don't Think is being used that could be bound to transmit to Channel 1 regardless of what channel you are in
Main Suggestion however is the buttons to move between channels
