When discharging the taser, there is a cool down period. However, a officer has an unlimited of taser cartridges that can be deployed.

If we could have two shots/cartridges that a officer could use. This would make role play a tab bit more realistic as you have to be precise when shooting the taser. I see there is a option in all met cars to reload the taser, so when you press that, the officer would then get two cartridges back on there person reAady for use.
 
+1 I agree however I was in a Training the other day and they said you have 3 Taser Cartridges on your person (IN RP) and once used all 3 You have to reload taser from boot however I may be wrong.

Would still like the Aspect of having 2 cartridges and Will not let you use the taser once deployed :)

2 shots then reload. That’s how the X2 is irl. Not to mention the 2nd cart can be fired directly after the first one.
 
This is taught during training and would have to be followed within RP as at this moment in time we aren't looking into the taser system.

I’ve never seen a single person RP they have 2 taser carts. They just shoot shoit and shoot some more. I can understand tasering the same person again should be be necessary as we don’t have a re arc option ingame. However tasting several people isnt realistic.
I wonder if ammo could be added to the taser to make you have to reload?

thats i mean. Then the game would relate to how it opperated irl with regards to police addons e.g the taser . Keeping in mid that there is alo a option in cars to reload the taser?

Can this be noted for when the devs may look inti the taser side of thing as it would be a good touch to rp.
 
Love the video! May be not have the bit where you can tase people by using the arrowes as i feel that people might abuse, However, it fixes teh problem with teh red dot sight that there is on the current tasers as i know they dont always work :)

This issue could also be brought back to making PAVA the equipment taught in college instead of taser, making the taser application based to both limit the use of it (is used too much even just for people running away) and limit how many have it to make it more realistic to irl dispertion etc. Would also bring in the realism of Met control having to specifically send taser trained assets to certain jobs etc. And of course like irl having certain divisions who will be granted into taser training straight away due to the role i.e firearms & roads policing!
 
remove all active taser tickets and make people have to retrain to carry taser. there is too many devices out on the street and the usage is far from correct currently.

Completely Agree. I think unless your in a specialist Division or a division that requires a taser they can get chosen by their command teams to be put forward for a taser training.
