Suggestion Title: Control members
Division: Control
Make control more specialised and restricted on who is joining and how many people are in control. Our standards in control are all over the place lets be honest and we need that fine line. We need to be more strict with control because we're here to dispatch units for over 110+ people at any given time on busy nights however a lot of controllers aren't doing what we're trained to do and it is getting annoying for most divisions.
My overall suggestion is;
- Being more strict with entry to control such as appropriate and customised trainings to individuals
- More control checks after probation to ensure standards are being kept
- Better entry training and practical examination
Create a very BASIC entry theory side which only takes 30-45 minutes at most, THEN require said trainee to do a practical assessment for a minimum of 15 mins on comms and 15 mins on CAD and base all of their learning off of what they could do better before signing them off as a probationary controller.
