Suggestion Title: New CID Vehicles & Trainer Cars

Division: MET - CID

Hello CID Command,

I am back yet again to suggest some more vehicles that I think would be good for our garage, I think they would be a good fit for the CID Garage and some may even be good for one or more of our Sub-Divisions.

The first car I would like to suggest is a BMW 530D F10.

The second car I would like to suggest is a Ford Focus RS.

Another vehicle I think would make a good addition to our garage is a Land Rover Discovery, similarly to the Audi Q7 it is a practical and off road capable vehicle that could be used for everyday CID tasks.

Another vehicle I think would be good for the CID is a Mitsubishi Outlander, I have seen many videos of this vehicle responding around London.

There is a car that I believe would make a good UCO car, this is because it’s a lower end car that would fit in with the docks, sandy, and grove streets areas, the car is a Vauxhall vectra.

Maybe one of the above such as the Land Rover or 530D could make a good vehicle for CID Trainers. As other divisions do have vehicles for their trainers such as RTPC have a marked Seat Cupra & AFO Trainers (OFCs) get their own cars as well. I doubt the idea of trainer car will be accepted however if we don’t suggest we don’t get.

Of course I don’t expect all of them to be accepted if any are accepted at all.

As always any feedback is welcome,
Thanks.

I think this would benefit CID and UCO because we need new vehicles , the UCO vehicle would be very useful to blend in more in the docks , sandy and grove street areas. I have always liked the idea of trainer cars because of what trainers do for the division and they deserve at least a car (just like RTPC)

Hello, thanks for your suggestion!
We have reviewed the vehicles you suggested and have decided that, compared with vehicles that have already been passed to devs via a previous forum suggestion that we are not seeking to introduce these vehicles to the division.

As for the trainer vehicle, again after discussion, we simply do not see the need. The CID trainer role is done almost exclusively over Discord, and providing a vehicle as a perk restricts said vehicle from the majority of the division, limiting it for use by around a dozen CID members. Additionally, trainers already receive a choice of either sub-division to gain access to after 1 month of membership as a CID trainer, these sub-divisions are already challenging to get into so personally I see this as a massive perk on its own.
For the reasons discussed above, I will therefore be declining this suggestion.
Thanks, Jinpooh
CID Command.
